The Architectural Technology and Design course is designed as a follow-on from Computer Aided Design Building Construction courses. It will also enable students to reach an advanced level of architectural technology and design. Students gain hands-on experience in the use of the latest technologies including Autodesk, Architectural Desktop and ArchiCAD.
 

Diploma with skills in ArchiCAD and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) are highly sought after in all sectors of the economy. Most architectural technicians work for private architectural practices or in the architectural departments of Government Institutes, Local Authorities or Semi-State Agencies. There are also job opportunities in private architectural technology practice, architectural graphics and model making.
